Maendeleo ya Walemavu empowers persons with disabilities through advocacy, accessibility, capacity building, climate resilience, digital inclusion, and partnerships, promoting dignity, equal opportunities, sustainable livelihoods, and inclusive community participation across Kenya.
Cosmos Julius founded Maendeleo ya Walemavu in 2022 after overcoming vision loss. Drawing from lived experience, he champions disability rights, inclusion, accessibility, economic empowerment, and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.
Maendeleo ya Walemavu is driven by dedicated professionals, volunteers, advocates, and persons with disabilities who combine diverse expertise and lived experiences to deliver inclusive programs, sustainable impact, and transformative leadership across Kenya.
